BIKES24 Refurbishment: Making Motorcycles As Good As New

At BIKES24, we’ve pull out all stops to ensure that the bike you buy is as good as new! We’re quite picky about the motorcycles we list, so the very fact that you found your bike on our platform is a testament to its quality. Every bike has gone through a 140 checkpoint quality test, been fully refurbished, thoroughly inspected, and been stamped by our automobile experts as BIKES24 certified. You can rest (and ride) easy now, with complete confidence in its condition. And you know we’ve got your back - the 12 month warranty we’ve given you ensures that (psst - we’re sure you won’t need it but a safety net never hurts, right?)

To ensure the highest quality standards, every bike in our inventory undergoes a rigorous four-step refurbishment  process by spending an average of Rs.10,000.
Step 1:

We perform a 140 checkpoint pre-purchase inspection where experts review every bike's mechanical, electrical, and structural integrity before purchasing it. We also ensure each bike we are buying is non-accidental.

A bike is said to be accidental if and only if the bike's basic structure - chassis/frame is damaged due to impact and is repaired or replaced. The repair/replacement of removable parts like fuel-tank, fenders, fork-set, and the swing-arm does not classify under accidental damage as they don't impact the vehicle's structural integrity.

Step 2:

Our experts test-ride each bike more than once to check engine performance, handling and brakes. They listen out for unexpected noises or vibrations. If we discover anything we don’t like, we fix it or we won’t sell it.

Step 3:

Each bike is refurbished and scrutinized to make sure they meet our quality standards. Here, we validate the engine, chassis, gearbox, electrical and all safety systems of the bike. We also perform a cosmetic check to highlight the vehicle's noticeable cosmetic imperfections. While we may not annotate every defect/flaw, additional wear and tear may not be visible on the 360-degree tour. In such cases, we tag significant imperfections of the vehicle to make sure you know what you are buying.

Cosmetic Imperfections
Scratches that are less than 3 inches in length. Scuffs, stains and discolorations that are smaller than the size of a thumbprint. Dents or dings that are less than 3 inches in diameter. Both the tyres are ensured to have at least 22% tread depth remaining for usage. Repair work on these imperfections often includes minor paint touch-ups, additional detailing, buffing and polishing to ensure your bike looks as good as new.

Mechanical Imperfections
All the mechanical and electrical flaws if any are fixed while refurbishing the bike to ensure it's as good as new.
Step 4:

We double-check — to be sure. Before our bikes reach your hands, we perform one final inspection so that you can be 100% confident about the ride quality and its condition.
