Over the last few months, the motorbike market has been flooded with a new era of change! Yes, we’re talking of the electronic two-wheeler offerings that are making their way to the market with a sense of freshness.

Given the rapid rates at which the market is flooding with new designs and concepts, it was almost time that the big guns came in. And to take things up by a notch, there’s a new buzz in town. Yes, we’re talking of BMW Motorrad's interpretation of style and statement with a segment-bending vehicle named the concept CE 02.

Interestingly, this two-wheeled aesthetical beast is neither a scooter nor a bike in the true sense. It’s just a two-wheeled offering that is aimed at the future of mobility and aims its market towards Generation Z.

The vehicle which will soon be on display at the IAA Mobility Show 2021 in Munich, introduces us to an entirely new era of concept and design language by the brand.

Talking of the design feature of the vehicle in-depth, it brings modernity and versatility. Interestingly, it can be modified as per the needs and wants of the rider. The flush and continuous seat give in space for a more driving experience.

In contrast, riders can also have a laid-back experience with their feet stretched forward. The minimal design also carries space for co-riders that come with built-in fasteners to create another footrest.

Exploring their concept in-depth,  Edgar Heinrich, BMW Motorrad’s head of design, explained how “At first glance, there is little about the BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02 that is typically BMW Motorrad – it’s something completely new. We want to strive for something novel and be pioneers – which is what we’ve proven ourselves capable of with various projects in the past”.

Lastly, the new innovation in style is all about bringing a change in the future of BMW’s biking experience. With their vision for an electrified future, the automaker believes that their upcoming offerings will only get better with time.
