Moving to the powertrain, it comes equipped with a 110.9 cc air-cooled single-cylinder OHC fuel-injected four-stroke engine, which can generate a maximum power of 8 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.70 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a CVT transmission.
It is the same engine we used in the previous model, and the brand offers no proportional or performance changes. However, the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec is anticipated to flaunt digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamps.
It is also expected to feature Hero Connect, which aids in offering navigation, speed alert, live tracking, geo-fencing, vehicle last location and trip analysis. Drum brakes handle braking duties. However, one can select a front disc unit as an option.
For enhanced braking, it will come with CBS. The brand has not revealed any data regarding the pricing and launch date. The current Hero Pleasure Plus comes at a price point of Rs. 63,000. Hence, we can expect the XTEC variant to cost more than this.
