Indian Origin ‘Gravton Quanta’ Electric Bike Runs 800 km At Just Rs.80!

Hyderabad, 28th June, 2021: Gravton, a Hyderabad-based startup EV brand, launched its first electric bike “Quanta”.

Quanta is designed from the ground up with indigenously designed and developed components, thus making it one of the only few EV brands manufacturing with the highest number of localized parts.

“With the launch of our first electric bike Quanta today, my dream has come true. Quanta resonates the true essence of not just Made in India but also Made for India. While this product is largely meant for riders from across the segments, we also have one coming up in the sports category, primarily meant for action oriented passionate young bikers”

“We have architected and engineered every component in-house and appointed vendors who can create components as per our configuration. The ideology of building an electric bike was primarily based on a thought to develop sustainable mobility solutions for the Indian roads. Quanta comes with World’s first Rib caged chassis designed to give agility and safety to the battery compartment from theft and accident. The chassis geometry and fine-tuned suspension helps maneuver the bike with ease and comfort.

Gravton Quanta: Power, Torque And Top Speed

Quanta is powered by a 3KW BLDC motor, an in-house manufactured motor that is engineered for reduced mechanical losses and increased efficiency. The electric produces a maximum torque of 170 Nm with a top speed of 70 kmph.

Gravton Quanta: Battery And Range

Gravton’s Quanta is powered by a detachable 3 kWh Li-ion battery and with 150 km travel range, that can be extended up to 320 km, on a single charge.

The Gravton Quanta is priced at Rs. 99,000/- and as a promotional offer, the company is offering the Gravton charging station free of cost. The electric bike in three color – Red, White, and Black. Black being the special edition with limited availability .
