Bajaj Auto is one of the most versatile India-based bike makers in the country and had enormous success ever since its field Pulsar came out in the ear 2000s. The brand will be celebrating 20 years of the Pulsar brand, and it will surely be with a bang.

Rajiv Bajaj, the Managing Director at Bajaj Auto, has confirmed the news that there is a new Pulsar on its way, and it will be the biggest Pulsar yet. It will be introduced in November and will be made on a new platform that will power different iterations of the lineup in the next year.

We don’t know anything about the upcoming bike and its specifications yet, barring the fact that it will be bigger than the biggest now. This means it will definitely be bigger than the Pulsar 220F on sale currently. There have been multiple speculations about this being a Pulsar 250. Bajaj would be developing a new engine for this model, though we feel that the 250 could be a reworked version of the Duke or Adventure 250.

Apart from that, there are also speculations that the new Pulsar could be a 400cc model. Bajaj already has a 373cc engine from the Dominar doing impressive work in the market, so it would make sense that the same engine makes its way in the new model. However, since Rajiv Bajaj has already mentioned that the platform will power multiple Pulsar iterations in the coming year, using a platform of a 400cc bike in a 200cc would not make a lot of sense.

Since November is approaching soon, we can expect Bajaj to drop the information bomb soon. The present 373cc engine powering the Dominar makes an impressive 39.42 bhp power and 35 Nm torque, just a little shy of the actual figures of the KTM counterpart. And to be honest, this figure could be perfect for an NS-based or even an RS-based 400cc bike as the other India-made bike in the segment is the TVS Apache RR310, which does not make as much power as the Dominar.
